Mittendrin

Mittendrin im Strom der Fans, die von der Hamburger Fanmeile auf dem Heiliggeistfeld die Reeperbahn hinunterfeiern. Agnethe und Richard aus Norwegen beim Verteilen der Flyer.

Fast unermüdlich sind Korpsleute, Missionsteamler und das Norwegische Team im Einsatz. Einladungsaktionen, spontane Jamsessions auf der Reeperbahn, Freiversammlungen, Bolzplatzeinsätze, Waffelteig rühren, Suppe austeilen, kickern und klönen sind angesagt. Auf dem Foto sieht man links Peter, Richard und Didrik aus Norwegen, rechts Louise und Irene aus dem MTH. Hamburg präsentiert sich den Besuchern aus aller Welt im allerschönsten Sommerwetter. Noch lassen sich mehr Leute die sengende Sonne auf der Fanmeile vor der Großleinwand auf den Kopf knallen, als sich in unseren angenehm kühlen Saal verirren, aber das kann sich ja bald ändern! Auf jeden Fall ist die internationale Zusammenarbeit super, und wir sind gespannt auf das, was uns in den nächsten Tagen erwartet.

Corps folk, Missionteam members and the Norwegian service team are almost tirelessly in action. Handing out invitations, spontaneous jam sessions on the Reeperbahn, open-air meetings, kicking around with kids on the playgrounds, mixing waffle batter, distributing soup, playing table football, talking with guests – that's what it's all about. At the moment people are prepared to let the sun burn on the heads in front of the huge screen on the fan mile, rather than come into our pleasantly cool hall – but that can change any time!
Any way, the international cooperation is great, and we await eagerly what will happen in the next days.
